The Podcast...

First off, thank you to Teabag The Herbalist for having me on his show. He didn't have to, but he brought me on. That's awesome.

Next, big shout-out and love to Ladi Zu The Music Healer for coming through for support. She has been consistently promoting my stuff for years now. I have been in my own world, not going anywhere except work and home, not supporting anyone. Yet she continues to support me. I must acknowledge that and show more love to her going forward. She recently gave me a couple of beats, and I already wrote something to one of them and posted the video. It's called “Feel”. She is a ultra talented artist, singing and now making beats. I love her!

Last but certainly not least, big shout-out to the Wali World crew, and Teabag’s manager, Michelle. Y'all are awesome and I hope to work with y'all again.

As for the podcast? It was great! Teabag asked me questions about my musical past, how we started the Adult Film Stars rap group, how I felt about Mic Club, D.R.E.S. da Beatnik (Rest In Peace) and A3C. It was a trip down memory lane.

I decided the night before to burn a CD with some of my current music on it, and I gave it to him in a DVD case with one of my geometricity drawings as the full cover art. I hand wrote the tracklist. Plus I gave him an ashtray made of homemade clay, and a resin coaster, both things I made during a couple of years ago.

We also talked about A.I. and music. He asked me what I thought about AI music. I basically said AI doesn't make music.

To be clear, I am cool with artists using AI to enhance the experience, and make mundane tasks easier and more efficient. If you are a recording artist who uses AI to make videos, or a producer who uses AI to separate the vocals from the beat, cool.

But I will not allow AI to make the beats or write the lyrics. That's the actual fun part of the music business.

I also kinda dissed Jay-Z and Eminem, but I tried to walk it back. Anyone who reads my recent blog post about Jay-Z knows how I feel about him, and Eminem is a lyrical monster and one the biggest artists of all time, I hardly ever listen to him anymore. But they are both legends, and deserve respect…

Moving on…

We didn't talk about anything I am currently doing, but that's fine. Since I don't have an album out, I'm not on tour, I am just posting bars on the Internet, there's really not much to say about that.

Overall it was a great experience, and I know that going forward I have plenty of stuff to work on.

Sidenote: Yesterday I ended up over spending, and there's a chance that this website might go down for a little bit. Wasn't paying attention to the date, and I did the monthly payment option instead of paying for the year like I did with previous websites. Chronicles of being a brokie, I guess.😭 Definitely need to optimize this site and generate income from it, otherwise I might as well give it up and only post on social media. We'll see how it goes…
